WIDEX HEARING AID BATTERIES
A fresh hearing aid battery will keep your device working to its maximum capability. It’s always a good idea to carry a spare or two with you, too, so you can make a quick change if your power begins to run down.
TYPES OF BATTERIES
All Widex devices run on zinc air batteries. Our batteries are coded with a number and a color. Check your device instructions to find out which color you need.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT HEARING AID BATTERIES?
Keep your batteries sealed until you’re ready to use them. If you remove the label, they will start to lose power and be exhausted after 4 weeks or so, even if you don’t use your hearing aid at all during that period.
Store your batteries in a cool, dry place away from children and pets; batteries are dangerous if swallowed. And store your hearing aid with the battery door open to make sure it’s not using battery power when it’s not in your ear.
When it’s time to change to a new battery, remove the label and let the battery ‘breathe’ for 60 seconds before placing it in your hearing aid. Change your hearing aid battery in a flat, uncluttered place with a soft surface; a kitchen table with a tablecloth is ideal.

What is it?

Easy to use: A new Nanocare wax guard is mounted on one end of the stick. At the other end is a hook for removing the used wax guard from the hearing aid. Insert the removal hook into the existing wax guard in the sound outlet. Pull the wax guard straight out. Turn the stick/holder around so that the used wax guard is away from the receiver and the new one is in position to be inserted.
TIP :
The use of the Nanocare wax guard does not eliminate the need for daily cleaning procedures. The amount of earwax produced by each individual varies and it is recommended that the wax guard is checked daily. If the hearing aid is weak/silent or if wax is visible in the wax guard, it’s time to change the wax guard.
